HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR A WEBSITE DESIGN?
A fully customized, unique website design starts by filling out our form in contact page. Pricing for other services and functionality are outlined separately on our pricing page to help you determine and control the amount of your investment. We also provide our clients with a detailed estimate before any work begins.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A WEBSITE?
The length of time it takes to create a fully functional website is based on several factors. Custom design work can take anywhere from 1 – 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the number of revisions you require. The development phase requires an additional 1 – 3 weeks, depending on the number of pages, and the functionality required. Of course, these are general guidelines, and we will make every effort to meet the time-frame you have in mind.
I DON’T HAVE ALL MY CONTENT READY CAN I ADD PAGES ON A LATER STAGE?
Yes! You can add content or more pages later, however there will be applicable fees based on the amount of content required.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT PAGES I NEED?
The most common Website pages are: Home, About Us, Products, Services, Rates, Menu, Contact Us, Map, Press, Reviews, Attractions, Coupons, Reservations, Guestbook, and FAQs. Another good way to determine which pages you would like is to research other Websites in your industry and to see what types of pages they have.
WHAT IF I HAVE SOME CONTENT, LIKE A BROCHURE OR A POWERPOINT® PRESENTATION, BUT I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DIVIDE IT INTO SEPARATE WEBSITE PAGES?
We can help you to integrate that content and, in fact, these materials provide excellent starting points for content creation.
WHAT CONTENT SHOULD I SUBMIT?
Your content (text and images) is a critical element of your Website. If you have specific Website content to provide, make sure you have this readily available to submit to us. Useful materials include brochures, logos, photographs or other images, business descriptions, formatted Word documents with your desired copy, or a link to an existing Website. Remember that Jay Digital will not be responsible for ensuring that content submitted by you does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of a third party. Also, send us your logo (if you have one you’d like us to use) in standard image format (.gif, .jpg, .bmp, .eps, or .tif)
WHAT OTHER CONTENT WILL I NEED TO PROVIDE?
Prior to your initial consultation with your Web design team, it is recommended you have the address (URL) of two of your favourite Websites and two of your competitors’ sites. It’s also a good idea to have electronic versions of your company logo and other images so our designers can get an idea of the colour scheme of your Website. Our designers will send a brief guide that will allow you to translate your ideas on paper.
